Nocheinmal ähnlich schwierige Bedingungen, aber heute kam zum starken Südwind und zäher Thermik noch eine große Abschirmung dazu. Die 68km Aufgabe flog nur einer ins Ziel, der Schweizer Christian Voiblet.

Wieder punktete Roland Wöhrle aus unserem Team am meisten, er schaffte vier der fünf Wendepunkte, mit viel Geduld und Jörgs Motivation am Funk. Der Großteil des Feldes, auch ich und etwa 60 andere Piloten, standen geschlossen an der Pizzeria-Landewiese und schüttelten den Kopf. Zwischen Platz 11 (ich) und Platz 70 gab es nur einen Unterschied von 40 Punkten...

Wir hoffen auf besseres Wetter, aber es sieht nicht nach einer Änderung aus.

Again a day with difficult conditions, adding to the strong southerly and slow thermals we had to fight with a cloud cover. Only one pilot made the 68km into goal, the Swiss Christian Voiblet.

Roland Wöhrle from our team placed 4th, best German. With a lot of patience and Jörgs motivation over the radio, he flew around 4 turnpoints . Most of us landed at the pizza place landing field, barely 30km into the task.

Hopefully we will see some better flying conditions one of these days, but today it looks pretty much like the same stable stuff.
